Soochippara Waterfall is also known as Sentinel waterfall is situated in Wayanad. 3 tiered waterfall varies in height of 100 to 300 ft, the first one which is the longest is the one which could be reached easily. It is a risky task to reach the second waterfall and only adventurous travelers take the risk to reach to the third waterfall. These three falls lie in Meenmutty, Soochippara and Kanthanpara. Finally they combine and then fall into the Chaliyar River. There is a pool below the falls where the tourists can take a dip.

Chethalayam waterfall is a small waterfall in Wayanad district at a distance of 15 kms from Sulthan Bathery. In order to reach this waterfall, one has to trek from Chethalayam for about 4 kms. This place is ideal for trekking and bird watching. The water is crystal clear. A nearby tourist spot is Wayanad wildlife sanctuary where one can see animals such as elephants, deer etc and several species of birds.

Aruvi waterfall is a stunning waterfall in Kerala that is located in the Peppara forest range, is 60 kms away from Thiruvananthapuram. In order to reach here, one has to go up to Bonecaud estate which is at a distance of 7 kms from the waterfall. From here, the visitors will be guided by the Kanni tribal men through the mountains. To go to this place one has to seek permission from the forest department. As this waterfall lies between hills and dense forest, the view of the waterfall is breath taking. The crystal clear water cascades down the hill at a height of 4 feet. The weather here is very pleasant and is also an ideal place for trekking. There is a Sage Agasthia’s temple nearby which also attracts the tourists.

Palaruvi waterfall is situated about 35 kilometers east of Punalur on the Kollam – Shenkottah road near Aryankavu mountain pass. The water falls from a height of 300 ft and forms a small pool at the bottom. Palaruvi means ‘stream of milk’. It is one of the famous waterfall in Kerala.
